Former OBIO CAAP company, Intronix Technologies, have upgraded their Myoguide Stimulator capability.

The Myoguide is a handheld injection guidance device that uses muscle signals (EMG) and stimulation, to help clinicians target the optimal site for injection of therapeutic Botox® type drugs, used for the management of muscle spasms associated with pain and spasticity.

Clinicians can now stimulate in both 1.0mA and 0.1mA steps over the full 0-20mA stimulation range.

The new 0.1mA step stimulation capability is especially relevant for nerve location, chemodenervation, in addition to ultrasound guidance procedures.
