OBIO Expands ‘Access to Talent’ Programs, Announces OBIO Job Board - Free Service for Ontario's Health Science Industry

In response to industry demand, OBIO is proud to announce the launch of the OBIO Job Board, its latest ‘Access to Talent’ program. 

The OBIO Job Board will be hosted on the newly revamped OBIO website and will be free for all health science companies wishing to post their latest health science job openings.

The forum brought together CEOs and senior executives from high potential Canadian health science companies with senior leadership from American investors and strategics in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake for two days of panel presentations, executive roundtables, and networking dinners.

OBIO Niagara Forum featured in VC Michael Greeley's Blog

Michael Greeley, Co-Founder and General Partner at Flare Capital Partners, an early stage healthcare technology venture firm, and a Founding General Partner Flybridge Capital Partners blogged about Ontario's Health Tech Scene. Michael was a panelist at OBIO's recent Niagara on the Lake Health Sciences Emerging Company Forum, and wrote about his overall impression of the Ontario's emerging health tech companies.

OBIO Member Companies Featured at Invictus Games' Accessibility Innovation Showcase

Congratulations to several current and previous OBIO member companies that proudly displayed their cutting edge technologies at the Invictus Games' Accessibility Innovation Showcase. The event featured companies whose technologies help improve the lives o fpeople with disabilities. The Showcase was an official event of the 2017 Invictus Games, and highlighted innovative assistive technologies and devices through interactive exhibits. 

The Invictus Games is an international Paralympic-style multi-sport event, created by Prince Harry of Wales, in which wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and their associated veterans take part in sports.

OBIO Companies Featured in Toronto Life's “Welcome to the new Silicon Valley” Issue

Several OBIO member companies were featured in the September Issue of Toronto Life, which covered the companies and their founders who are making Toronto the "New Silicon Valley". Among those profiled were Komodo OpenLabs' Tecla-E, which makes it possible for almost everyone to use a smartphone, as well as MediSeen, which aims to bring back the 'house-call' for patients with non-emergency issues.
