The OBIO® Job Board and Talent Network

The OBIO® Job Board and Talent Network allows candidates seeking work in the health science industry to showcase their skills, knowledge and experience, as well as make their profiles visible to health science employers via their e-profile. Employers are notified when new profiles are created and can connect with job seekers directly to request interviews. By joining the OBIO® Job Board and Talent Network, candidates will also have access to pre-employment and post-employment resources through the H2BB™ program, which include:

  • Toolkit and Early-Career Talent Guide for job seekers

  • Resume templates

  • Salary guides

  • Access to professional development workshops and events

OBIO’S Health to Business Bridge (H2BB™) Program

OBIO® helps its member organizations identify highly qualified candidates in business and research, and provides training and mentorship to talent.

OBIO® membership includes companies involved in therapeutics, medical devices, in-vitro diagnostics, digital and consumer health. Since its inception in 2017, OBIO’s H2BB™ program has facilitated the hiring and onboarding of more than 200 candidates at 90 health science companies. It has also delivered more than 450 hours of industry-specific training to job seekers and new hires. Health science organizations that have participated in the H2BB™ program include: Baylis Medical, NerV Technologies, Custom Biologics, CCRM, Synaptive Medical and AmacaThera.

Candidate Eligibility

  • Open to residents of Ontario that are legally eligible to work in Canada

  • Candidates must have completed post-secondary education and not be currently enrolled as a full-time student

  • Unemployed participants must have a profile on the OBIO® Job Board and Talent Network

Application Process

To be considered for the H2BB™ program, candidates must be registered on the OBIO® Job Board and Talent Network. The H2BB™ program runs on a rolling basis and talent on the Talent Network will be notified when applications are being accepted. Selected candidates will be invited to participate in the H2BB™ training program upon review of their application.
