Applications are now open for the 2025 SoCal - Canadian Black Tech Express - a high-impact market accelerator connecting early-stage Canadian tech companies led by Black entrepreneurs with investors, partners, and customers in Southern California.
This year’s cohort will be on the ground in Los Angeles during #LATechWeek (Oct 13–17) - one of the biggest weeks in the LA tech scene. If you're a founder raising between $500K and $10M USD in venture funding this is your gateway to:
Connections with SoCal investors, mentors, and partners
Guaranteed pitch for up to $100K USD from MUSA Capital
Programming tailored for export-ready, Black-led tech startups
Program Requirements
Early-stage Canadian tech company (including medtech integrating AI, and digital health) with at least one Black founder or senior leader
Generating revenue or have raised angel/VC capital (ARR $100K CAD+ preferred)
Ready to enter or expand into the U.S. market
Attend virtual prep Oct 6–7 and in-person LA program Oct 13–17
