New City of Toronto Building Emissions Performance Standards

The City of Toronto is proposing a new Building Emissions Performance Standards (BEPS) policy with the aim of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from existing buildings. This will affect you if you own/operate a building; if you are a tenant then it will affect your building owner/landlord. Residents and building owners are invited to learn more with City of Toronto staff at virtual town halls on the following dates.

• Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from noon to 1:30 p.m.

• Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
  Register 

• Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
  Register 

• Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
  Register 

An online survey will also be made available from June 24 to July 16 to collect input on BEPS.
