Applications for Round II of Ontario's Life Sciences Scale-Up Fund Now Open

Applications for round 2 of Ontario’s Life Sciences Scale-Up Fund are now open until August 3, 2026.

The Life Sciences Scale-Up Fund is designed to help small and medium-sized Ontario health technology companies scale their operations, commercialize products and services, and increase domestic manufacturing capacity. Together with the Health Innovation Fund, the LSSUF will advance the Phase 2 goals of Ontario’s Life Sciences Strategy and strengthen Ontario’s standing as a global leader in health innovation.

In its first round, the LSSUF helped generate nearly $75 million in investments, supporting over 660 good-paying jobs. To sustain the momentum, the 2026 Ontario Budget allocates an additional $24 million to promote the integration of innovative healthcare technologies across the province.
