The Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) are launching a new IDEaS challenge focused on multi modal artificial intelligence for decision support.
They are looking for AI driven solutions that can fuse multiple types of data such as text, sensors, video, or radio frequency signals to deliver real time, explainable situational awareness and support faster operational decision making.
Successful solutions could be tested and integrated into CAF intelligence, command and control, and tactical systems, and help shape future defence capabilities.
IDEaS is transitioning to a new submission portal for this challenge.
