OBIO’s Health to Business Bridge™ Program
OBIO supports our member organizations to find suitable candidates from graduate and post-graduate business programs and, when hired, provides training and mentorship to the newly hired candidate. Successful placements are achieved through conducting pre-screening interviews, customized workshop training, and matching hires to subject-matter-expert advisors who act as coaches and mentors to the hires.
OBIO has several hundred member companies and organizations involved in therapeutics, medical devices, in-vitro diagnostics, digital and consumer health. Since its inception in 2017, OBIO has placed 79 interns in 48 health science organizations. Companies who have participated in the H2BB program include: Baylis Medical, Braze Mobility, Elucid Labs, MDDT Inc., Mount Sinai Services, Therapure Biopharma and WinterLight Labs.
Past Positions Filled Include:
- Business Analyst: an AI startup hired an intern to work on market research, lead development, competitive analysis as well as financial modeling and a commercialization plan for their company.
- Business Development: an early stage medical device company hired a business development intern in a dual business and clinical role. The intern developed a sales funnel for various client segments on the business side while also overseeing the operation of a pilot study.

OBIO will conduct an initial screening interview with select applicants and then refer candidates to relevant organizations who will conduct a second interview. If you are interested please submit your resume, and cover letter to David Singh, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
