Brightshores Health System is leading a regional rollout of Toronto-based Swift Medical's AI digital wound assessment tool, after securing additional co-funding from DIGITAL, Canada’s Global Innovation Cluster for digital technologies. Supported by DIGITAL and partners across acute care, long-term care, home care, research, and technology, the initiative aims to standardize wound assessments, improve documentation and communication across care settings, and help clinicians track healing and prioritize care.
