University of Toronto, Mississauga Get Hired Fair - January 15th
Over 1,500 students and recent graduates from various academic programs met with organizations, including OBIO, to learn about the wide range of career opportunities across all industries, including health science.
McMaster Biomedical, Bioengineering, & Biotechnology Industry Night - January 16th
Over 100 biomedical engineering, biotechnology and other health science students met with various organizations, including OBIO, to hear about work opportunities in biotech, medical device and other health science sectors.
Juno College Industry Night - January 16th
The H2BB team met with candidates who had just completed Juno’s web development program, many of whom had computer science degrees.
TRIEC Professional Immigrant Network (PINS) meeting - February 20th
OBIO met with groups who work with professional immigrants, and individual candidates, with varied health science backgrounds, including pharmaceutical and medical device sales, project management professionals and IT.
Life Sciences Career Development Society Networking Reception - February 26
More than 200 life science MSc., PhD and post-doc students and recent graduates, as well as MDs, met with industry groups to explore career opportunities outside of academia.
